Abstract

Linguistic terminology plays a crucial role in the development of scientific knowledge, as the precision and consistency of terms directly influence the results of linguistic analysis. In the context of modern corpus linguistics, the standardized representation of terms is strategically important not only for terminography but also for natural language processing (NLP), corpus-based linguistic research, and educational technologies. This article examines the principles and mechanisms of representing linguistic terminology in the Uzbek National Corpus. The study analyzes the integration of terminological units into the corpus environment through lemma-based identification, multilayer annotation, and corpus interface representation. Particular attention is given to morphological variation, terminological synonymy, and script normalization in the Uzbek language. The findings demonstrate that corpus-based approaches significantly enhance the process of terminological standardization and provide new opportunities for linguistic research and educational applications.
